CATS stands for Cycles Analysis & Timeseries Software
It is a comprehensive package for studying time series and in particular finding and predicting cycles. It is free, and is available from CRI web site CATS page where you can find some basic examples of CATS output.
Much of the analysis in this blog and many of the graphics are made using CATS. CATS comes with hundreds of time series included. These range from very fast time intervals to very slow periods and include all different types of data, scientific and market oriented.
We have begun web training seminars on how to use CATS. Training seminars for CATS are now regularly being added to VIMEO at http://vimeo.com/groups/cycles.
