Sentient Trader (Beyond Hurst)

This post describes one of the most exciting developments in the application of cycles that I have ever seen.

Some of the readers of CRI Blog will be aware of the development of The Hurst Trader software by one of our advisers, David Hickson. It implements Hurst’s methodology faithfully as a trading system for stocks or other tradeable financial instruments. THT is very impressive software in the ways that a user can operate it to suit their own particular requirements.

Following the completion of a working Hurst Trader, David Hickson has included a variety of addition concepts that go beyond Hurst’s scheme of analyzing cycles. This includes concepts from Harmonics theory (as developed by me) which allows not just ratios of 2 and 3 between cycles periods but other prime numbers which may sometimes occur. This new product is called Sentient Trader. It is able to trade short cycles right down to 3 minutes, keeping track of all the longer cycles at all times. It is capable of directly performing trades in real time without human intervention.

A test system for Sentient Trader is able to be followed by our readers. Please visit the page and register yourself to see real time trading of Euro versus US Dollar.
